Play Rooms and Playground
At Adana’s Oğuz Kağan Köksal Primary School for the Blind, we set up a beautiful play and study room for the children. This was a big need, as until this time there was a room for this, but it was empty, with no toys or play equipment.
Together with the Adana Sheraton Hotel, we set up a children’s playroom at Meydan Women and Children’s Hospital in Adana. AFAS artists contributed with a colorful wall mural
Playground Project
In April 2009, we completed the construction of a playground for the Deaf School in Adana. Before this, the children had no playground at all. We also set up a solar energy system, so the children can have warm water most of the year.
